Purpose

This tool helps recruiting teams assess how candidates experience the hiring process from application through first-day readiness. It captures feedback on clarity, efficiency, communication, interviewer preparedness, selection decisions, and onboarding handoffs. The results help identify moments that matter, validate candidate journey improvements, and guide redesign of recruiting and selection practices.

How to use this tool

  1. Administer the survey after key recruiting milestones, such as interview completion, offer decision, or new-hire start.
  2. Ask candidates or recent hires to rate each statement using a Likert scale where 1 = Totally Disagree, 2 = Disagree, 3 = Neutral, 4 = Agree, 5 = Totally Agree.
  3. Review responses by stage of the candidate journey to identify where the experience is strong and where friction occurs.
  4. Use open-text feedback on how the candidate heard about the opportunity to inform sourcing effectiveness.
  5. Analyze results with candidate personas, journey maps, and pilot redesign feedback to refine the future-state candidate experience.
