Purpose

This tool helps organizations assess the quality and effectiveness of hiring decisions by collecting manager feedback on new hires after they have been on the job for a defined period. It measures readiness, coachability, cultural alignment, and rehire confidence to determine whether selected candidates are meeting performance and organizational expectations. The survey supports quality-of-hire analysis, interviewer effectiveness reviews, and continuous improvement in candidate screening and selection processes.

How to use this tool

  1. Send the survey to hiring managers after a new hire has been employed long enough for meaningful evaluation, typically between 30 and 90 days after hire, with optional follow-up assessments at later milestones.
  2. Ask managers to rate the new hire using the provided agreement scale across readiness, coachability, values alignment, and rehire confidence.
  3. Document whether the employee is still employed to support retention and hiring quality analysis.
  4. Aggregate results across departments, hiring managers, recruiters, and interviewers to identify patterns in successful hiring outcomes.
  5. Use survey findings alongside candidate experience feedback, retention data, performance outcomes, and interviewer participation records to evaluate overall hiring effectiveness and identify coaching or process improvement opportunities.
