It helps determine where the most change support is needed and prioritize activities and spend. It also helps ensure that all changes – with both direct and indirect impacts - are understood. Additionally, the stakeholder groups that will need to be aware of these changes must be trained on the new ways of working.
Requesting existing documentation from the Initiative Manager or Sponsor can come in the form of an initiative charter, business case, timeline, status reports, etc. However, depending on the size of the organization or scope of the initiative, there may not be formal documentation.
