A template used to identify the aggregated strengths and development needs of a given group of leaders (total, or by level, function, region, etc.) for an annual leadership development learning and development program needs assessment. The template captures and communicates the leadership and management team’s average strengths and weaknesses against the leadership and related competency models.
The individual competency ratings are collected for all leaders and the average rating on each competency is computed across all individuals. Next, the same calculations are performed on the results from different targeted groups (managers, critical roles, etc.) by level or function as desired. The data is used to identify those competencies for which the targeted group requires improvement, and then design programming to further develop those.
