Purpose

The Task Governance Chart supports the identification of the individuals in the organization involved in executing a particular task and their role. It is helpful for facilitating collaboration for complex tasks that involve multiple parts of the organization. In addition to helping ensure that all tasks are completed by identifying the roles responsible for completing the work, it also helps identify other parties who provide information needed to complete the task or should be provided information as a result of the completion of the task.
