Purpose

This tool provides a library of cultural elements to consider and incorporate into the digital transformation journey. It illustrates behavioral attributes associated with each cultural element. New elements can be added to the library, and additional behavioral attributes can also be included or adapted to reflect the specific context and desired culture of the organization. Strong cultural alignment with the digital vision will be essential in the successful transformation of the organization.

How to use this tool

The cultural elements can be formally included in the organization's HR Strategy or addressed through change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement efforts throughout the digital transformation. They can also be used as change data measures—tracked and measured at several points during the transformation journey—to identify opportunities to engage the workforce in different ways to drive the desired culture.
