Purpose

A template for capturing the logical flow of thinking from a group of experts who are tasked to review the key business strategies and think through the implications of each one on the future staffing requirements of the company or business unit.

How to use this tool

This tool should be completed sequentially from left to right. Functional leaders and experts participate in a facilitated session to consider each business strategy and brainstorm the potential impact on headcount volume drivers, such as the opening of a new facility. They are then asked what their best-estimated impact will be in terms of volumes (increases or decreases) on each identified role or grouping of roles.
