Conducting a meeting of top functional executives and experts responsible for a particular critical role(s), a facilitator leads a discussion that covers all strategic actions foreseen in the planning period. Each action is covered by asking and recording the assumptions to be tied to the first two left-most columns and directing participants to provide insights and projections on the impacts on the types and numbers of employees who will be needed to execute against each future strategy. These are typically based on either an existing strategic plan or by asking the top functional leaders for their projections on major strategic plans.
